Titled “The‘Imperial’ Imperial”, the article tells the background of the Metschanfamily and the Imperial Hotel in Portland, Oregon and features great picturesof Phil Metschan, Sr. and his five sons and an exteriorview of the hotel. In 1949, the original Imperial building was made intoseparate hotels (Hotel Lucia and Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland). It would make an interesting (and fun!) conversation pieceframed and displayed in your home or office.
