Description and Provenance:
Here is a truly rare and remarkable piece of UT memorabilia with established provenance from a student who act ually attended The University of Texas in 1939 and, except as noted below, is still in great vintage condition, near mint I would call it, because it has been preserved within the pages of a scrapbook for over 83 years.
Thick $2 Admission Card to the Dance and Round Up Review held on Friday, March 31, 1939 at the Gregory Gym of the University of Texas. Card is dated and numbered andadmits one man and one woman.It\'s printed on heavier card stock. It has the same image on the back but it has a small remnant of beige album page stuck on it, since the original collector, who actually attended the University, had placed it in a scrapbook with additional UT memorabilia. A light bent to one corner. Please see picture to further evaluate condition.With confirmed provenance for collectors.
Size: approximately 3-1/2\" x 2\" and thick.
