I received this item many years ago as a gift. It would be an excellent gift for any pharmacist and especially a recent graduate. It is a 52 year old 8 cent stamp issued in 1972 to honor the profession of pharmacy. It was professionally matted and framed, though the frame shop label has fallen off the back. The frame has outside measurements of approximately 10 5/8 (pic 6) X 8.75 inches (pic 7). This is a relatively large frame for a single stamp, but allows the opportunity for people to actually notice it. The stamp, background, and mat are all in very good condition (see pics). The frame has chips on the bottom right section (pics 1,2 & 12) and bottom left hand corner (pic 10). The frame has hardware for wall hanging (pics 3&4), but I used an approximately 7 5/8 inch tall hinged wood easel for desk display (pic 5), which is also included. The easel is in very good shape with no significant scratches, dents or chips. Please contact me with any questions and thanks for looking!
