Here is a 3ID DCU top from the early Iraq War Era complete with tapes, Jump Wings and Combat Patch. What’s most interesting about this top is that you can see there is actually a green US Army Tape underneath the tan one that was simply sewn on top of it. Early in the war the 3ID deployed with most personnel having green insignia on their desert uniforms due to a lack of proper desert insignia. As they became available they were replaced with tan. With this one they just sewed the tan tape over top the green. The bottom of the green tape can be seen under the tan when lifted and you can see two thread patterns on the inside. Cool early Iraq example.
