This statue is outstanding for the beautifully detailed painted finish. Overall this statue is in very good antique condition with only minor scratches and discolorations as would be expected. It is made from solid oak.The original paint is nicely patinated and shows lovely muted colors. Note the missing fingers (see photos) as well as minor cracks that occur from normal shrinkage of the wood with age. Other than that, there is no notable damage and no woodworm or dry rot. It is made to stand with one side against a wall-the rear is unfinished. Dimensions: 59\" tall, 32\" wide, 20\" deep. (902)
