ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Vintage/Antique Christmas Postcard featuring Santa Claus wearing a purple robe and a red hat with white trim. He is standing behind a Christmas tree decorated with candles & ornaments, and there is a gold star shining above his head. This postcard is a Raphael Tuck & Sons\' design. It is posted and has a cancellation stamp from CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - KINZIE STATION dated 1909.

Vintage/Antique postcards can show normal signs of wear commensurate with their age including corner/edge wear, surface marks, scratches, fading, yellowing of paper, crackling, missing pieces, holes, dents, stains, curling, creases, writing on the back and/or front of the card, postage cancellations, postage stamps, glue/tape residue, etc.
I try to describe any defects that exceed the normal wear for these vintage/antique postcards.
There is some corner/edge wear. The bottom/left corner is bent a little and has some surface missing. There are also some surface marks/stains including some black ink marks in the top/right portion from the cancellation stamp.
