This authentic, rare old artwork has been in dry storage for decades, originally aquired from an early San Francisco estare within the Nob Hill District .. now on offer, new to market:Authentic, antique watercolor artwork by Wylog Fong, entitled \"Djair\" or \"Parasol\" -- an early 1900s watercolor engraving, in original framed under glass. Artist is Chinese, born in San Francisco. Copyrighted by West Coast Engraving Co. of Portland, Oregon. Artwork features a pretty young Chinese girl with a parasol in historic Chinese attire.This piece pops; subject, theme & colorsare very nice throughout with much visual interest; a fine, rare, old, ecclectic piece.
ArtistWylong Fong is a well known Chinese artist .. please check him out on the internet.Print is 5 7/8\" x 8 7/8\". Frame is 7 3/4\" x 11 5/8\". Print itself remains in very nice condition, colors remain strong. Backing paper is very old & has deteriorated, now tattered at corners, however does not detract from this ecclectic old world Chinese artwork itself.
Original, old wood frame remains strong, tight at joints .. you can see the original old hanging wire & tiny, oxidized, nails.
