Antique/1955-64 Nut Bowl Made of 3 New Zealand Woods w/ Hammer:

This is a beautiful circular handcrafted nut bowl with a metal nutcracker w/ a wooden handle. It is made of New Zealand timbers including Rewarewa, Kahikaica and Kaikawaka. There is a raised center piece covered with brushed nickel where the nut is placed for cracking. The nutcracker/hammer is made of heavy metal with the same New Zealand wood. The bowl has a geometric design that is made from the three different types of wood, giving it a 1960\'s look. It was crafted in the 1960\'s by New Zealand Woods. On the bottom of the bowl the three types of wood and the name of the company are burned into the wood. This is a beautiful piece of wood art from the 1960\'s. It can be used as a decorative piece or a functional nutcracker. Pre-owned/Antique/Vintage....normal vintage wear. Some small scuffs and indentions on the center piece. Also some wear on the hammer.
