The front of the compact depicts a figural scene with a man kneeling beside his woman gazing at her beauty. The details of the man, woman, clothes, features and scene are superb. If you are a collector of stunning compacts with silver and enameled design this compact was made for you. The compact closes and opens easily. The hinges work well. Some collectors prefer to add a photograph to the inside which could easily be done. No modifications have been made to this compact. The inside shows the Hallmark for 800 silver gold gilt. The diameter of the compact is 2.75 inches. The depth is .5 inch. The stand is not included. You will receive this compact. It has substantial weight of 72.76 gr.
