Very Nice Antique Tea Box
c.first quarter20th century
Large metal box with painted accents: "Butterfly Chop Japan Tea - Worden Grocer Company" followed by a worn "Grand Rapid, Mich."
The inside of the lid has lovely artwork of a Japanese woman picking in the field with
Measures approx. 12-1/4" x 9-1/4" x 5-1/2"
Displays well

Condition:

Moderate scratching and paint loss on the exterior from age. Oxidation present on spots of loss, as well as across the underside. The original artwork remains largely intact on the front, with some loss to the Worden name. The inner Lid work remains colorful and shows light loss. Box is empty. Displays well!
