Antique Derby Porcelain Figurine Pattern # 77 Stocking Mending with Bocage Great Colors and Patterns to Clothing!
An early Derby porcelain figurine dating to approximately 1806-1825. Charming couple with the maiden seated with his foot propped on her lap. This is #77 " Stocking Mending" from the Derby book. They both are wearing brightly colors and patterns to their clothing. Figurine measures 7 inches height. Width at base is 4 inches. Marked on the base with the pattern number incised No. 77. Also marked with the Derby hand painted mark in red used during the time period from 1806 to 1825. Condition overall:Has an old repair on the maiden's arm as well as his right hand. Some losses to florals at base a spot or two of enamel loss. Please view photos. The figurine displays well and is quite a charming example of early English Derby figurines. Please view the photos.
