Details ~ A lovely Victorian gilt metal dresser jewelry box in Louis XVI style. The lid centered by a miniature porcelain hand painted portrait of a young woman in a round frame. Surrounded by high relief outer rim. Beautiful details throughout. Signed Kiel, a well known period portrait artist. Circa 1890.
Miniature painting not examined out of frame. Hinged lid in fine working order with original beige velvet lining.
Measurements ~ 2.5”L; 2.5”W; 1.5”H
Condition ~ Pre-owned estate fresh item with no damage to report. Normal wear commensurate with age.
