CONDITION: Excellent, just an occasional, minor rub. There are mold marks that appear to be cracks but they are in the manufacture of the piece. This bisque porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Scheibe-Alsbach around 1890. It is 13 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide. The girl and her cat are beautifully modeled with lots of fine detail. The bisque texture is perfect for the girl’s complexion. The girl’s hair and the cat are painted and glazed, contrasting against her skin. The hand painting is expertly done. You could not find a more charming face. Little gold buttons and drop earrings of gold are lovely accents. Her hands are delicately formed. There is a fringe of lace around her shoulders. The button in the back has come undone and her dress is falling off. You will fall in love with this figurine each time you look at it. #E280Please do not offer if you do not intend to pay.
