Antique W.R.Kirschbaum Germany 1898 saber. Cavalry of Argentine Army. Matching:

• This ancient saber was issued to all cavalry troops and is currently used by the historicalHorse Grenadier Regiment.
• It is a saber with a half-basket guard, with a main branch and two secondary branches, made of smooth steel with a flat section.
• In the bowl it has the national coat of arms and the galluelo, flat and curved downwards, is an extension of the transept.
• The knob is short, made of smooth steel and is fixed to the spigot with a hemispherical nut with holes.
• The handle is made of bakelite with segrid on both sides, smooth on the edges and with a groove on the upper part for better grip of the thumb, and on the lower part it has a projection for the index finger.
• The handle is attached to the tang with two rivets and ends in a smooth ferrule.
• The blade is semi-curved with a cane back, smooth, on the right heel the national coat of arms, \"SABLE DE CABLA\" on the upper part and \"MODEL 1898\" on the lower part.
• On the left heel, the brand “WEYESBERG KIRSCHBAUM & Cie”, depending on the year of manufacture and shipment from Germany to Argentina, may have five numbers with letters A or B before the number.
• In this case, the number B04112is indicating that it is one of the first to be manufactured at the end of the 19th century or early XX, which makes it a very rare collector\'s item to obtain and, especially, in the optimal condition in which it is found taking into account which is more than 120 years old.
• The scabbard is made of blued iron plate, with a deep drawn scabbard mouth and fixed to the scabbard by means of a screw on each edge, with a single ring attached to the scabbard by a quarter turn. clamp and a hook opening on the inner face. It is curved with asymmetric oscillation.
• The blade and sheath have thematching numbers.
• The edge is original, unopened despite being more than 110 years old
