This Arita Ware tea set is a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship and the beauty of high quality porcelain produced in the former Hizen Province. This beautiful set comes in its original box (it was stored, but never used).
Through part of my research and the use of google translate, I was able to determine that KYO had signed each of the pieces.
BACKSTORY: I came across this set at a yard sale in North Dakota….it was explained to me by the woman there, that this set was gifted to her mother as a thank you for her years of management of a downtown porcelain shop.
