Without a marking the metal content for the bead is not pure. Beads are solid through and through with no plating whatsoever. The silver on all Chamilia silver beads are treated to prevent tarnishing but sometimes needs a touch up. To do so, we recommend a silver polishing cloth. Do not use silver polish or dips as it removes the oxidization off the beads and bracelets. Additionally, chemicals such as chlorine from hot tubs will change the make-up and look of the silver. How do you know that what you’re buying are authentic Chamilia beads?...look for the Chamilia hallmark. In 2008, the company started stamping all their products, so if you are buying newer beads and bracelets, look for one of the following marks: C, ©, Chamilia, CHAM, 925, Cham 925 CN or Cham 925. Although Chamilia’s hallmarks have evolved over the years, the line originally started in 2002. Payment Payment is appreciated within 3 days of the sale ending. Non-payment/non-communication could result in cancellation and/or an open unpaid buyer case. Domestic First-Class Shipping via USPS is $2.00 (unless there is a free shipping promo available); $5.00 for a USPS Flat Rate Priority Box or $20.00 for USPS Priority Express (1-day) Service. Each additional jewelry sale ships free.
As with all of my sales, I only charge actual shipping fees. I primarily ship via USPS. Upon request, I will ship via UPS. I do not charge a handling fee or for packing/packaging supplies. I spend considerable time and money on packaging each item so that it will arrive at your door without breakage or shipping damage, but insurance is still recommended. In cases of shipping damage or loss, I will always assist in any way that I can with the insurance process for reimbursement. All items are shipped with delivery confirmation. If you are thinking about offerding on any of my items and there appears to be a problem with shipping fees, i.e., unreasonably high ($10 to ship 1 Bead), please email me prior to offerding/buying. It seems that postage fees get a bit blended when uploading sales. Most likely it is an error and will need to be fixed prior to placing a offer.
