Ganymede, a new color for 2024, changes from a gorgeous lilac to a pink color depending on the light. Sadly, Blenko had a lot of quality problems with this color so they decided to stop production. As a result, this stunning decanter will be a collector's item in time, due to limited numbers of decanters made in this color. It was purchased as a 2nd quality piece from the Visitor's Center, where it was used as a display item. It has a very small number of the problems common in glass of this color--a few inclusions and very faint striations (please see photos). The stopper sits straight and is lovely.
