I have for sale this very nice 1905-1925 arts and crafts period Bradley and Hubbard slag glass genie lamp with overlaid brickwork filligree. What a great design and its in very good overall condition. These Bradley and Hubbard genie lamps so not come up for sale often and if hey do, not in the very nice condition like this one is. It measures 11 inches tall, with the shade being 8 inches wide. This Let’s start with the shade. The glass in the shade with very nice color as you can see from the photos. A great combination which b and h used often and you can see why here. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and no filligree losses to be found as well. Now onto the base. Its in fine working order and has no metalware breaks or issues. Recently rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base in excellent original frog skin green patina as well and base retaining its original Hubbell socket as well. This lamp lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. I purchased this lamp as you see it here in this listing. All in all a super nice arts and crafts style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that. Please check out my other 70+ lighting listings as well. Thanks.

buyers please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are.
