I am not a \"Rock Hound\" Per Se, Just Have always Been fascinated with concretions...So Cool !

But From my research, Concretions are formed when clay orOther Cementing Material, Collects around Various Types of a Nucleus to form A Disc, Sphere, or Other Unique Shape Some Resembling animals or Human form. It is akin to the Way a Pearl Forms in an Oyster. Concretions vary Considerably in their Shapes, Sizes, and Mode of Origin.All of the Concretions I Currently Have Listed for sale are From My Private Collection, which I am now Parting with, and were self - mined from the clay banks and waters of the Schoharie Creek / Delaware River, Catskill Mountain region in Upstate New York many Years ago. Concretions are Natures Natural Sculptures and Each One is a Unique work of Art Created by Mother Nature, and Hundreds and Thousands of Years of Time. Any perceived \"imperfections\" such as layers, calcifications, seams and natural ridges or cracks, as well as their coloring are all a part of, and add to, their natural beauty.
