All our listed items are originalChristian devotionals. Some may have been cleaned or polished before theirarrival, by their last caretaker. Their use is for personal devotion.

Few of these medals were ever minted, and fewer ever turnup for sale; we have a very few remaining from Chaplain Bill's 1965 New Yorkestate, left to me by my mother Bertha, (the founder of Church-Woman Antiques,who passed away in 2010 at age 97).You are offerding on one of those medals; itis 1.5 inches in diameter, and has 11 beads around the circumference, so thatit may be used as a chaplet, or a rosary. These vintage rosary medals were castduring WWII in Italy, to give as gifts to wounded Catholic soldiers at US ArmyField Hospitals, and were ordered by Chaplain William Richard Arnold, the Chiefof Chaplains, U.S. Army, from 1937-1945.It may be worn on a necklace, kept inyour pocket, or placed on a keychain. The medal has never been blessed, and itis in uncirculated vintage condition, with a beautiful patina commensurate withits age after many years in storage. This is all the information and provenancewe have; once these medals are gone, there will be no others.
