High quality replica Schyulkill Arsenal Federal Fatigue Blouse. Size 44 chest. 3 piece body and two piece sleeves.

Coat is made from Ben Tarts excellent medium dark blue fatigue blouse flannel that features a pronounced 2/2 twill weave. Lined in wool/cotton mixed SA-style checked flannel. Muslin sleeve linings feature my own unique stamps in indelible inks that near exactly mimic the example coat in the Smithsonian.

All the typical, great SA features are there: all visible seams and top stitching are 100% hand sewn using Tarts logwood dark gray thread, which will eventually, correctly oxidize brown. Square collar, deeper cuff vents and taller facings, incredibly neat hand sewn buttonholes. Lining is appropriately whip stitched to facings…a significant, but correct amount of handwork in the construction. Interfacing is all of starched burlap canvas. Proper buttonhole style stitched bar tacks at the pocket opening.

The coat is finished with correct soldered shank medium Waterbury Federal buttons with proper back-marks from Button Baron.
