RARE BOOK from the WW2 era!

D.C. Comics 1944

This golden age classic is in pretty good shape for it's age. It is complete with no cut-outs.Interestingly, the covers are made of a thick paper stock that has withstood the test of time. Front cover has a number of creases, 2 dark blotch stains mid lower, many small surface chips along edge and spine and light tanning on interior side. Back cover has creases, small stains, small edge and spine tears, and an ink number stamp bottom right. The spine has a 3/4" split at bottom and cover is detached. Note that the book is held together by one staple in the middle, which I believe was probably part of the manufacturing process. There are signs of former staples at top and bottom, but whether those were original or added I do not know. Interior pages are in generally in great shape, but the last two pages have 3-4" splits along the lower spine.PLEASE take a close look at the photographs and assess the condition yourself before purchasing.

Shipping:Raw comic books are either sent in Gemini mailers (or similar) or sandwiched between sturdy thick cardboard pieces. Comic books are firmly attached to cardboard with blue painter's tape to ensure they stay put in transit and to make it easier for the buyer to unpack. Orders of up to 1 pound are shipped via USPS first-class mail. Orders over 1 pound are sent priority mail (note that comic books cannot be sent media mail per USPS regulations). All slabs are double boxed with ample packing material.

Returns:Returns available for most raw comic books. However, due to the age of this book and it's delicate nature I am not accepting returns. I do not generally accept returns for graded books, but there are exceptions - I will accept a return if there is a defect in the slab due to CGC encasing or if the book is damaged during transit.
