Damele turquoise/Variscite, material is not dyed or reconstituted. Completely natural very hard material. This weighs in at 65 grams (325 carats) This material is stunning with great coloring in the matrix and fantastic green webbing. Shown wet. You will receive the exact item pictured.

Material is from the mid 70s.

The Damele mine produced a wide range of colorful material in yellows, golds, greens and blue-grays. The spider-webbing is often very fine and tight. Matrix ranging from tan all the way up to rich velvet black.

Please see photos for dimensions. Some photos are wet to give a comparison to if it were polished. Would do well for small cabs or even drilled for pendants/earrings.  If you have any questions please feel free to message us.  We will be listing old stock and old mine materials in coming weeks. Many are now hard to find, not the same quality and or no longer being sourced. All Bisbee rough (dark blue great quality dense material) was acquired in the mid 60s. All Royston rough (stunning color and dense) was acquired late 50s to early 60s as well. We will combine shipping, after payment we will refund all overages for items shipping together.  

When looking at Turquoise online pay particular attention to pricing, wording and photos. Many would say prices are high however much of the material we are offering is 30-60 yrs old ,nothing we have listed is dyed, reconstituted etc. We are not selling any fake material or material from other countries and claiming it’s USA produced. Much of the material is from mines no longer producing or producing minimal amounts of lesser quality (young material) . If pricing seems to be too good to be true elsewhere I assure you there’s a reason for it.
