Large nostalgia Decal 71/2"W X 4"H from Don's Speed Shop. Don Gallant- "Connecticut's Pioneer Dragger" who began drag racing in New England in the early 50's.. Don's shop is the oldest continuouslyoperating Speed Shop in New England established in 1953. Don Gallant was a pioneer New Englanddrag racer located in Connecticut starting in the early fifties. In the 1950's thru the 1960's during the early golden years of drag racing the shop campaigned 3 different top fuel dragsters along with a 1970 pro-stock Chevy Nova in the seventies, and is home to legendary "Gold Rush" 27' ford A-street roadster and "Golden Gasser " 55 Chevy which were featured in numerous publications and auto-showsof the late 50's- 60's.
