FLORIDA ARCHAIC KIRK STEMMED + GEORGIA HARDEE - TWO AUTHENTIC POINTS:

Two authentic points - aHardeepoint that measures 2 1/4" long by 1 3/8" wide. And a Archaic Stemmed/Kirk pointthat measures 2 1/4" long by 1 1/4" wide.The Hardee is from Seminole/Early Counties, Georgia and the Kirk is from Taylor County, Florida. Both are made out of local colorful Florida cherts. The Hardee has a needle tip and is well beveled. It has a ancient base ding that is well patinated over. These points were part of the Mike Warren collection. Mr. Warren was a local postmaster in Colquitt, Georgia. He was not the finder, but locals from all over the area would bring him points to buy. Mr. Warren sold these to Kevin Dowdy of Fowlstown, Georgia in the 1990's. I bought these from Mr. Dowdy in 1999and they have been in my collection since.
