Based on a layer of green material, octohedral crystals, stairstepped like an Inca pyramid, formed first and then were topped with single purple cubic crystals. I’m sure the experts have a name for this kind of growth. The specimen was encased in thick red mud, and portions of it are still stained red which resists ironout. 2 1/4 inches at widest.No international sales.
