Adrien Aimé Fleury de Bar is a French general and politician born onDecember 13, 1783in Thiais ( Val-de-Marne ) and died onDecember 24, 1861in Paris.

Biography

Volunteered in 1805, he participated in the Battle of Waterloo as an officer. He continued his career under the Restoration , participating in the Spanish campaign in 1823, then in the Algiers expedition in 1830. He was appointed field marshal in 1830, then lieutenant general, becoming Marshal Bugeaud \'s deputy . He retired as a division general in 1848. He was deputy for the Seine from 1849 to 1851, sitting on the right. He was a senator of the Second Empire from 1852 to 1861.
