G.I. Issue Pocketknife, Government Utility Pattern,VGC: A genuine Government-issued pocketknife that served somebody in WW II, Korean Conflict, or the Vietnam War. The carbon steel blades are an indicator of all three wars, but the can opener is not the most recent one. The rear handle has pieces broken from it; marks on the bolster indicate one attempted to customize the knife but another chip near the center rivet suggests dropping to a hard surface. Anyway, all blades work smoothly with good walk and talk. Both handles are clean and lightly worn and have good color. I thought of epoxy-patching but that would change the authentic appearance of a recognized official tool. Blade looks barely worn; lanyard bail is well attached. Good for militaria collector, worker, camper or hobbyist. Lots of life left in this old knife.Mailing only to USA-48. Postage is usually between $5.00 and$6.26. Buyer pays $4.00, I will pay the rest.
