Total Length in Scabbard 24 5/8", Wilkinson had the contract with Gieves, a major naval outfitter / supplier, to make their edged weapons. A Royal Navel Midshipman's Dirk, Marked Gieves (The Supplier / Dealer) 45.5cm blade etched with scrolling foliage, crowned fouled anchor, GVIR cypher and Royal Arms, regulation brass hilt with an embossed fouled anchor on the langet, wire bound fish skin grip, in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the locket engraved M.H.Mc.LK. complete with knot. The very tip of the blade is missing, and some small nicks in the blade edge both sides. See photos for condition and description. Overall Nice Sword. Shipping USPS Priority mail 18. See photos
