Offering a signed presentation stiff paper (5-3/4 x 4-7/8\") by noted magazine illustrator J[oseph] J. Gould (Philadelphia, 1880-1935).
Gould was best known for cover illustrations for Lippincott\'s and twenty-one covers for Saturday Evening Post.
Text: \"120 Locust [address] / March 22, 32 [?] / My dear Mrs. Doyle, / Here is the signature in all its glory (?) [sic] / J.J. Gould.\"
Ms. Shirley Doyle apparently collected illustrator autographs, as we\'ve seen three related ones.
Very good condition. Normal toning for old paper. Back shows signs of having been removed from a photo album with black pages. Please see scan for details.
