This John Dillinger death mask cast was made from a 3rd generation mold of one of 4 original molds made July23rd 1934.Look at the great detail in this death mask.
Along with this death mask comes an 8 X 10 photo of Dillinger as he lies on the slab in the Chicago Police morgue.
The "scar" on the right side of Dillinger's cheek is from the bullet wound exiting.
The marks on the left side of his face were where he fell on the sidewalk.
Dillinger's gang were involved in 24 bank robberies and 4 police station escapes.
Dillinger was imprisoned several times and escaped twice.
There is a hanger on the back of the death mask.
In the photo there is a bullet hole shown in his ear.
Five shots were fired from guns of three FBI agents. Three shots hit Dillinger.
