154CM SteelBlade

154CM is one of the \"better\'\' steel varieties made for cutlery and otherknife blades. It\'s not a powder steel (CPM154 would be thepowder version), but it\'s a commonly used steel for a higher gradeknife. Micarta is a flax or paper fabric laminatedwith epoxy resin. Its advantages are lightweight and gooddurability. Micarta has a certain degree of waterabsorption, and the color will change when wet. The handle has an unique sensations of metallic and fabric textures.
