This is a superlative vintage Navajo single stone silver bracelet. This wonderful bracelet contains a vibrant blue colored turquoise stone that appears to be from the fascinating Ithaca Peak turquoise mine. Surrounding the stone are phenomenal silver works that include raindrops. And arrow design Resting at the sides of the fabulous sturdy and thick double silver shank cuff are wonderful silver leaf flanks with mind blowing detailing. Bordering the shanks are wonderful silver raindrops and stampings. I absolutely love all of the amazing detailing on this bracelet The width of the bracelet measures around 1"⅜ at it's widest point Signed by Navajo artist, JE JIMMY EMERSON NAVAJO Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 6" with an additional 1"¼ gap. Sturdy 42.3grams. Ithaca Peak turquoise comes from the Cerbat Mountains in Mohave County. It is part of the Kingman mining operations and one of the two main turquoise deposits along with Turquoise Mountain.

Ithaca peak turquoise, like Kingman, is typically a beautiful sky blue color but is specifically known for heavier pyrite inclusions. While pyrite is also found in other types of turquoise, it will usually be more of a brassy color in the Ithaca Peak material, which can be helpful in differentiating it from similar stones like Morenci turquoise.
