LOVELY ANTIQUE SCHWARZBURG PINK & FLORAL CABINET OR CAKE PLATE; BIRD OF PARADISE:

Maker: This lovely cake plate has the green maker\'s mark of Germany\'s Schwarzburg.
Design: It features a center panel of a bird of paradise surrounded by cartouches of gold scrollwork and multicolor flowers. The quality of the decoration is excellent.
Age: The plate\'s Schwarzburg shield mark dates its production to between 1904 and 1924, when the company\'s name became Royal Schwarzburg.
Size: The plate is 9 3/4 inches wide between the handles, 9 1/2 inches wide at the center and weighs 14.9 ounces.
Condition: It has no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs or crazing. There is wear to the cartouches - examples are highlighted in the photos and it can be seen by enlarging other photos.
A teapot in this pattern is being sold separately.
