Antique perfume bottle w/box. Vera Violetta by Roger & Gallet. The scent was first released in 1892, but this bottle is from 1950. This piece w/bottle & its reflective glass stopper are in excellent condition. The stopper is unusual for this R&G scent, but the photos show this as the only bottle & stopper made for this box. Box & bottle are clearly Vera-Violetta. 3.5” x 1.25” x 1.25”. Stopper is frozen w/some contents still. Bottle has four complete, beautiful labels. Front label of the scent has only a few tiny rubbed dots on edges, & one corner bends slightly away from bottle. Three labels, for weight 1-1/4oz, R&G emblem & mint neck label, protected still, by a complete brown-bowed ribbon. A small piece of the baudruchage still clings to lip. Box is in very good condition, gray, faded some to a pinkish tint, symmetrical network designs on face & sides. Has a light stain on face, some deeper stains on sides/bottom edge. Inside box & frame is fairly clean & seat this bottle beautifully.
