This lovely antique German bisque figurine depicts a child holding an umbrella and a doll. The intricate details on the Heubach type ifigurine are a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the Edwardian era. The multicolor figurine stands 7 inches tall and is made of porcelain. It was manufactured in Germany around 1910.
The figurine's style is a blend of Edwardian and Victorian, inspired by Kate Greenaway's illustrations. The figurine is part of the original production from the early 1900s and has an antique finish. It's perfect for collectors of decorative figurines and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
The nose is a little rubbed and the paint at the end of the doll's shoes is worn. No other wear except an original kiln scrape on back of her left arm and no restoration.
