A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' but vintage medal featuring the Mater Dolor (Mother of Sorrows) on the front and the Crucifixion on the back with the two Marys and St. John and the words "Pro Nobis Mortuus Est." 1 3/8 x 5/8 inch. 5 grams. This medal appears to be silver and possibly three other alloys. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1962 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions from France. This medal is actually an antique and is between 60 and 113 years old. It has never been owned or worn by anyone. Please take a look at my other offerings.
