Nice sounding old radio, especially on local AM stations. Controls operate smoothly, volume & tone not scratchy sounding.I replaced both the B+ filter caps, as an original had gone bad years ago. The dial face has some scratch-lines on the right side, where needle had been scraping it (see picture). Also, I put a new polarized wall plug on it. Includes a 4 page Sams photofact set for the W-117.FYI This unit has the 25L6GT audio output tubes.Picks up local Tucson-area AM stations fine with just a 3\' wire antenna, on SW it helps to have a much longer one. It can pick up WWV, depending on time of day or night. Will ship UPS or FedX...Thanks for looking
