This is a vintage chrome postcard, unposted and featuring a multiview of the Ingleside Motel and Skyview Restaurant, located in Staunton, Virginia. The postcard shows an exterior of the motel as well as guests playing golf and enjoying the swimming pool. Built in 1928, and was considered one of the finest resorts in the United States. It operated as a POW camp for the US government during WWII. In the 1970s, the hotel was closed after several fires. The golf course remains open as the Ingleside Golf Resort and Conference Center. The rest of the facility has been abandoned.Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions.
