This frame has been sitting around my home for decades and I never gave it a second thought..
I have moved it here and there and assumed by the sounds it made that it was Bakelite, but no.This frame, or combo of 2 frames, is of an unknown (to me) species of wood.
The nails appear to be square in cross-section--again, blind here.
16 x 20 inches working. Approx. 23 x 27 outer. Currently wired for \"portrait,\" but easily converted to \"landscape.\"
It ships with the glass in photos, but for practical purposes, we will not return for glass broken in shipping. Glass is cheap and easily cut to fit. I would remove the glass if my eyesight and dexterity were what they were a mere 2 years ago. Getting old sucks.
OBTW, the amber-colored glass paperweight IS listed elsewhere on Lissa\'s Lair, and its\' photos are STUNNING.
