I\'m shooting from the hip when it comes to country of origin, my belief is American. It came out of an ultra wealthy house- I was fortunate to buy out of the house for three days before the sale house came. I filled my van 13 times with goodies. These people were dog lovers- like me and there were a number of pieces that features a Borzoi or two. Such an elegant breed. This example is entirely hand-sculpted and surprisingly it has no signature, which is surprising as this is a little masterpiece. The dog is Beautifully rendered. Measures 8 1/2\" in length and 3 1/2\" tall. In a word- EXCEPTIONAL. I would date second half of the 20th century.Pictures help to tell the story.We pack professionally & ship lightning quick.
