This explosive pattern has long been one of my most prized when it comes to either Hawaii or South Beach...and any tropical warm spot where we are so gratefully fortunate to watch ginger and palms come to life...this one showcases the wondrous punch of colors of real life tropics recreated some 75+ years ago on a cotton...a new technique they were calling \"Barkcloth\"...a thick nubby washable textile being mass produced by real live machines...no longer relying on doing it all by hand...we were now seeing factories mass producing for a explosion in population boom that would eventually usher in the baby boomers...this nubby icon is one of the more collectible patterns and colorways because as you can imagine it comes with a very crazy wild tropical pattern...while maintaining a sophistication that exudes from every crevice of its fantastic texture and colorway...
This offering is for ONE unused unwashed gloriously textured remnant...a wonderfully bright and crisp white ground...shades of charcoal and dove gray ginger plumes are flanked by brilliant bold true red...burgundy...and shell pink...palm fronds in honeydew ...celery...dark lime...and a deviating grass green...with black accents...this highly textured icon is from the 30\'s and has a whole lifetime of glory and joy it wishes to bring to the next owner...Measures 22 inches wide x 21 inches long...if you like your barkcloth with a super charged NUBBY factor...then this one will be sure to check all the boxes.
