Condition: Nice, pre-owned-VIRGIN OF VLADIMIR ON BOARD. This is from an upscale estate whose owner traveled throughout the world. This believed to be a MCM reproduction and purchased at the Museum of Recklinghausen as written on the back side of the work. It measures appx: 6" by 7", done in gold painted colors, light yellows, tan, cream with darkened brown & red detailed accents & borders. There are only slight imperfections and patina to the wood, and hand-painted details. This is a wonderful piece to add to any serious collector of fine Russian Orthodox artworks. On board, with wire on back to hang on wall. The back is written in pencil: la Madone Elensa, dite de Vladimire" Gevire russe du 17 c siecle. (Musee' de Recklinghausen)."
