Many black-and-white and color photographs throughout capture the flavor and characters—from Phil Hill to Clint Eastwood and Bill Harrah—that made the early Pebble Beach road races and the Concours that grew out of them exceptional. Includes faithful reproductions on period-correct paper of the Pebble Beach Road Races promotional posters—just like the originals, but slightly smaller.This book is in superb, near-fine condition. Dust jacket is in very good condition, some edge wear consistent with its age and a bit of bending near the upper edge (see photos). Dust jacket is protected by a mylar cover. Super-clean book with bright pages and tight, unbroken binding and hinges, solid boards, sharp corners.
