Click images to enlarge Description This is an ORIGINAL pre-WWI M1910 canteen carrier possibly made at the Rock island Arsenal. I purchased this carrier at the SOCALMICS militaria show in Bellflower, CA back on July 31, 2011. The canteen carrier has the \"rimless\" eagle snaps of the earliest M1910 dismounted carriers. The carrier is in acceptable RELIC condition, but one of the snaps has separated from the canvas fabric, which may be repairable with ingenuity. Otherwise, its parts may be salvageable. Hence, the $40 price, which is what I paid nearly 13 years ago. Please scroll downward to see the last three images! The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and a five-day (not the 14-days they insert in my listings without my consent) right of inspection and return privilege with a refund of the purchase price, excluding postage.PLEASE NOTE: The carrier will be mailed by USPS Ground Advantage (the old parcel post mail) at an approximate postage of $5, unless the buyer requests priority mail. The unused postage will be refunded to the buyer after mailing.
