For sale is a pre-WWII vintage Noritake cake stand in very good condition. The Noritake logo (an \"M\" inside wreaths) on the base was not used after 1940. I do not know the name of the pattern, though I have searched data bases for it.
The plate itself is in excellent condition, however the stand has not been removed from the plate to my knowledge, and it appears it would be difficult to do so. There is a cork spacer between the base and the plate, and a screw and nut to hold it. The screw is no longer functional, though it is in place and skewed somewhat to one side. I have not attempted to remove the base.
The plate is unblemished with gold trim and handles. A rare find and in such good condition for its age.
