This is an Spanish Colonial Santo of undermined age and origin. The statue appears to be carved from several pieces of wood covered by polychrome (head, body & base) held together by wooden pegs in the back. Please see photos. The statue is in moderately worn condition reflecting its age. The vestment has a faded gold decoration visible in the front. The back looks have some re-painting in a more vivid red color. The base has great detail with palm leaves in each corner. Please see photos for a more complete description. Statue is 16 inches high. The base is 6 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Overall condition is commensurate with its age. Weight is 3.6 pounds. Please email me with any questions or concerns
