Very Rare 19thC carved wooden Tantric Hindu Goddess Kamakhya with two Tantric Yoni (vagina) amulets connected with the worship of Kamakhya.
Some aspects of the worship of Kamakhya remain very secret and contain sexual practices ('Left hand' practices) concealed from those outside her cult.According to the Kalika Purana, Kamakhya Temple denotesthe spot where Sati used to retire in secret to satisfy her amour with Shiva, and it was also the place where her yoni (genitals, womb) fell after Shiva tandav (dance of destruction) with the corpse of Sati.
