This is a "grand" sized "Robj Paris" porcelain figural powder jar from the 1920s. This art deco beauty from Robj depicts a sitting ballerina with her tutu flounced outwards and encircling her. Her hair is upswept and she has beautiful, delicate, hand painted features. The rich jewel tone colors are vibrant against a black ground. This powder jar would have held a very large "body" powder puff. She is a monumental size as far as powder jars go.
