This full tang sword has an UNSHARPENED 1070 carbon steel blade, elegant scent stopper pommel withhex nut pommel construction, and mild steel downswept quillions. The total weight is approximately 2.8 lbs (light, fast, and flexible) for fun, efficicient cutting practice (when edged) and would make an exceptional project blade (easy to deconstruct but very solid when assembled).

FULL DISCLOSURE:The thread wrap on the hilt, under the leather, was moving when I received it. I removed the leather and fixed the loose threads so there is no slippage now. However, she bears the signs of rework on the hilt wrap (uneven seams) and that is reflected in the price.
